Synopsis Four Kurdish immigrants, Ali, Serkar, Hama and Alan, very different characters with very different dreams, are smuggled aboard a lorry. As the lorry begins its journey and the characters head towards their futures, tensions run high, but bonds are forged.

Based on the true-life experiences of illegal immigrants coming to Britain, ‘Hello Britannia’ is about risk, danger and hope. It is a dark, funny, very human film, showing weakness as well as strength and unity even in disunity.

In a drab, anonymous grey school governed by a strict authoritarian regime, an apparently unremarkable day is turned on its head following a seemingly ridiculous announcement.

Disbelieving at first, the all male, identically uniformed pupils are informed that what they had always been taught as fact is no longer true. When the incredulous students speak out, what initially seems laughably absurd becomes desperately real as they are forced to question how far they will go to stand up for their beliefs.

Two & Two is an allegory for the absurdness of dictatorship and tyranny – and the resilience of the human spirit.

Dominic waits by a van outside a residential building in South London. He’s joined by old friend Nico and it’s an awkward reunion.

Dominic has contacted him after a long gap and a financially challenged Nico has asked him to help collect a free sofa from one of the flats.

The friends walk into the middle of a heated break-up scene as the couple argue over ownership of the sofa; it’s a full-blown furniture custody battle. The guys finally acquire the sofa and struggle to get it outside. And that’s the easy part…

Short fact:
This is the follow up to the digital feature Deadpan Valentine (2006) which also stars Mark Parsons and has music by Gavin Saunders.
